twins turn 2!!!!

It has been a very busy month with the boys turning 2 in October and then there is Halloween and all the fun things to go to with church and Ethan's school. Drake and Dallin are doing so good and growing up to be active little toddlers. They are still very close on the growing charts. So Drake is 26lbs10oz compared to 6lbs8oz when he left the icu at the hospital at discharge and Dallin now weighing 27lbs10oz compared to 5lbs15oz when he left icu at discharge. So two years later and the boys are growing and we are so happy and blessed.

Chuck E Cheese birthday

Its where a kid can be a kid, Ethan is wearing his crown full of coins to use on games. So glad that we decided to go there.

Look at the serious faces on ALL these boys, even Drake and Dallin wanted to be part of the action.

Our big boy is 5 years old! We love you so much Ethan. Thanks everyone for the great memories for Ethan.

Family

It's been a long time since I have had a chance to blog but just a quick update:
Lance graduated in May! Two degrees, one in Associate in Science and the other Associate in Applied Science in Radiography
I had Functional endoscopic sinus surgery in May also. Still recovering from it, hope that it was all worth it.
Ethan has finished pre-k however will not be 5 in time to go to school in the fall so he will start the following year.
We had grandma Millie (aka) Lance's mom from Utah out for the graduation she visited for about 3 weeks. So glad she got to see how much Drake and Dallin has grown since she seen them in the nicu after they were born.
Lastly we celebrated our 5th anniversary.
So it's been a very busy first half of the year let's see what's to come!

HAIRCUTS 101

The twiners are 19months now and they were getting their first real haircut by aunt Suzie. They both sat there while getting it done like big boys we were so proud of them! (the first two are the before and then the last two are the after pics)

Christmas 2011

Yes the ending to the three day event, Christmas!

Drake and Dallin on Christmas morning strolling with there new winter hats. They are so darn cute.

One of the most sweetest things happened that morning, it was the search for Santa. Ethan had heard everyone saying to him over and over "santa's coming to see you" so of course it's only natural that a 4 year old would take it literally. He got up out of his bed and walked in the living room saying "where Santa" and he was serious. He looked outside, and in the other rooms but when he found out that Santa could not stay he was soooo sad and a little disappointed. But when he looked at the presents under the tree all was forgotten. Till next year!

Christmas, three day event..........

What a great Christmas this year has been with our families near and far. We want to thank you all for the gifts and the great memories to add to the end of 2011.

Thanks to my mom (nana and papaw)for having us over on Christmas eve's eve. For some yummy breakfast followed with exchanging presents at your house.

And as you can see from the pictures the boys absolutely loved their gifts.

Cool wood blocks, Drake.

Dallin is (trying to) help open Ethan's present however, Ethan easily stops him. It's so wonderful to see all the boys enjoy this time together.

Thanks uncle Zac and aunt Suz for the gifts! We were so happy to have uncle Zac over for dinner, and he brought over gifts. What an awesome family we have.
